A little more about this quiz
Chicago is easy to place, but a state capital is not always its biggest city. This bank includes all twelve capitals, a map question for each state, and a mix of rivers, cities, parks, and regional boundaries. The maps give you the state’s position and shape together.
We use the US Census Bureau’s Midwest definition: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Other everyday definitions can differ, so this keeps the answers consistent. Retry for a new selection or use the full bank to study the region.
