How we put a quiz together

Publisher: Quizpen. Each knowledge quiz includes its full question bank, answer explanations, and supporting reference links. The byline identifies the publisher; it does not imply that a qualified subject expert has reviewed the page.

Quizpen publishes and is responsible for the questions, answers, and explanations on this site. We use AI tools to generate quiz content, including questions and answer explanations, and provide source references to help you check the subject. AI is part of our production process; it is not an expert reviewer.

For knowledge quizzes, our question-writing standard is one clear correct answer, with an explanation that helps you understand it. When an answer depends on a definition, time period, or version of a story, the wording should make that context clear. A surprising fact should hold up when you follow the reference.

Automated content checks look for structural problems, including repeated answer choices, a missing or invalid answer selection, and missing explanations. These checks do not establish that a fact is correct. AI-generated wording can still contain mistakes or ambiguity, so source references and correction reports matter.

Sources and review limits

Adding a reference is a source check, not independent expert certification. We link to the supporting institution, original text, official map, or specialist educational reference wherever practical. A source can support a fact without validating every aspect of a quiz.

Open “Sources for this answer” after answering a question or revealing a flashcard to check them. The sources section at the end of each quiz offers further reading: NASA for the solar system, the National Park Service for park facts, and the US Postal Service for state abbreviations. A reference link does not mean that the source organization wrote, reviewed, or endorsed our quiz.

The collection covers sports, US history, geography, science, television, movies, memory, and Greek mythology. These are rounds for casual learning and friendly competition; ordinary knowledge rounds, answers, unfinished input, and personal bests are saved on the same browser for up to 90 days. Challenge, practice, and reflection answers stay in page memory. There are no accounts or leaderboards.

Our fan personality quiz and political reflection exercise use preferences instead of correct answers. Each explains how its scoring works; the results are for entertainment or reflection and are not validated assessments. Political responses stay in page memory, and sharing includes only the quiz link.

Images & reuse

Our illustrated quiz covers, editorial illustrations, and social preview designs are created for Quizpen using AI tools and design work, with the artwork credit “Quiz Pen”. They are illustrations, not documentary photographs. Any applicable rights in Quizpen’s artwork, design, and branding are reserved; this does not claim copyright in every AI-generated element.

You’re welcome to share your score with the sharing tools or share a Quizpen page with its preview image. For permission to use our artwork or branding separately, contact us with the image link and your intended use. We do not offer a blanket licence for standalone reuse.

The images used inside some questions, such as team logos, flags, and maps, help you identify the real subject. Their individual source and reuse details appear beside the image. These third-party assets keep their original attribution and terms; Quizpen cannot grant permission on behalf of their owners.

Contact, image permissions & corrections

Have a question, a quiz idea, an image permission request, or a correction? Email hello@quizpen.com.

For a correction, include the quiz link and copy the question text so we can identify it even when the question order changes. Tell us which answer or explanation you think is wrong or unclear, and include a supporting source if you have one. Reports about ambiguous wording, outdated facts, and image credits are welcome too.

Quizpen is responsible for checking reported issues against the relevant sources. Our correction standard is to update the question, answer, and explanation together wherever the issue affects them, including the printable version. Reporting a concern does not require an account.
