BEHIND THE ROUND

A little more about this quiz

You do not have to recite the whole list in one breath. Each question gives you four administrations to place in chronological order. Move the names up or down, then check your sequence. Some groups are neighbors in the timeline; others connect presidents from different eras.

The bank runs through the forty-seventh presidency. Grover Cleveland and Donald Trump each appear with term labels wherever needed because each served nonconsecutive presidencies. The answer explains the order with dates. On a phone or keyboard, the move buttons work without dragging; answer choices are also available.
